Happy Thursday Hidden Gem Travel community! Believe it or not, we’re approximately seven (7) months out to Thanksgiving and eight (8) months to the Christmas and New Years holidays. Time flies and the holidays will be here before you know it. Giving a gift of memories is always a fantastic idea.
This week’s newsletter is a quick heads-up that it’s high time to think about what type of getaway you’d love to have for this year’s holiday season and begin the planning process. In fact, it’s a bit late because holiday travel is best booked a year in advance for the best rates and availability.
Read on for inspiration for your holiday travels this year…

Sun & Sand
If sun and sand destinations are ideal for your family, a villa/resort on one of the Caribbean Islands or Mexico may fit the bill. Note – they will carry a peak season price tag for Christmas week. You may have better pricing if you can travel over Thanksgiving or the week before or after Christmas.
💎Hidden Gem Tip: I have connections to help you find the best options whether resorts or villas (vetted properties, not Airbnbs/VRBOs), so email me to get the process started.

Snow & Ski
Whether or not you love to ski, winter getaways can be magical! Some summer ranches in the US West are amazing for winter/holiday getaways with plenty of activities for all ages.
Did you know that there’s a fantastic option for international ski vacations that’s all-inclusive? One of them is driving distance – although it’s a long drive – from New York City!
As mentioned above, I have connections to help you find the best options for your winter getaway (skiing or other), so email me to get the process started.

International City Getaways
After loving the European Christmas Market river cruise I took last December, I can wholeheartedly recommend spending the holiday season in cities and towns that deck themselves out in sparkling lights and festive decorations. If this appeals, let me know and we can brainstorm ideas for your family.
